Centrally located on the Gulf Coast, the Mobile Tensaw delta is easily accessible via Interstate 10 and Interstate 65. Pre expedition accomodations and restaurants are located in Daphne, AL. Blakely State Park serves as the site for the WMPP course taught by NOLS. It is a short drive from Daphne to the park. Blakely was the site of the last major battle of the Civil War. It is one of the best preserved battlefields in America.
