What if it’s too rough for me?

If we’re lucky we’ll see some wildlife. The course areas are full of it. There is little risk of injury however, because large groups make enough noise for these animals to move out of the way. They are wild and not sensitized to human exposure, so they don’t want to be around people.
We’ll be prepared for rain and lightning. We will review a lightning drill and always play it safe. The key is to be prepared with the correct gear.
What about emergencies?
There are numerous “take out” points for on course emergencies. Cell phone reception is adequate for our needs. We have emergency plans in place and our itinerary will be provided to back up personnel. We ask you not to bring your cell phones, however.
Mine do! They can’t wait to go. We make it fun and educational. No matter what, they will enjoy having your attention for a weekend.
