Seasoned campers will have an opportunity to to fine-tune their skills. Members of the expedition set up campsites, learn proper sanitation methods and cook all meals. Participants will utilize USGS maps to learn navigation and map skills. Expedition members will handle route planning and decision-making. Boat care, safety issues and camp craft are emphasized.

The course is a 100 mile paddle from the Alabama River to the Causeway.
